NEEDLE FELTING.

Have you heard of needle felting? I hadn't until I went to Sheri DeBow's house Friday night for a little birthday celebration/craft night! Sheri is a very talented local artist who blogs over at OstrichGirl5. Her work is everything whimsical, colorful, girlie and fun. She pulled out a plastic bin full of colorful felting wool and quickly showed us how to get started. After a few painful pokes from the felting needle (ouchie....serious ouchie) we were on our way to creating pretty little felting creations.

I made this little bird.

And this little heart with mine and Dave's initials in it.

Dave 'n April sitting in a tree...k.i.s.s.i.n.g!

Have I mentioned that February is my most favorite month, with Valentine's Day being one of my favorite holidays? Well it is...in fact just saying the word "February" gives me butterflies! Happy February.

Felting kits for beginners as well as the supplies you will need can be found at the The Felted Ewe. Thank you Sheri for introducing me to such a pretty craft!

I love the little bluebird. There is a lady on etsy that makes needle-felted owls. They are so cute!
